Distraction

I was going to write today.
But then the sun came out.
 The birds were singing and that kind of annoyed me.
 I noticed the pile of dishes that were left in the sink. So I washed those.
I realized no one had clean socks for the next day. I so ran a load thru the washer.
While that was going, I came back out and checked my phone.
I remembered I hadn't checked in with my daily Bible reading, so I did that.
The colorful gem swapping app gave me a notice that I needed to check in there too, so I played a few levels.
My stomach rumbled and I realized I had skipped breakfast during the mad dash out the door that is the school run.
So I put on the tea pot, put some bread in the toaster and played my daily crossword puzzle.
When the bread had become toast, I smeared some butter and jam on it. Sat down to drink my tea and eat my toast.
Got a notice from the school that it was spirit week and went up to figure out what the kids could wear each day.
While upstairs, the bed looked comfy so I took a nap.
I woke up to those darn birds and a lawn mower.
I looked back at my phone and saw I only had about twenty minutes until the beginnings of school pick-ups.
So I played a few rounds of solitaire.
After school pickup there was homework, and dinner and a meeting.
Then it was bath, stories and bed.
The clock read ten, I was turning into a pumpkin.
Maybe I'll write tomorrow.
